The Spark
- •Got access to a computer at home (aka a toy that can run 24x7, has unlimited information, and customizable)
- •Instantly hooked on technology
Found My Calling
- •Discovered C programming at my school fair
- •That was the moment I knew, what i really wanted to pursue!
The Coding Journey Begins
- •Chose Computer Science as an elective, started learning Java
- •Wrote code to solve my math homework
- •Joined the Android rooting community, tinkered endlessly with my Nexus 7
- •Realized Android apps were built with Java, and determined to build my own
First App on Play Store
- •Got into Android app development
- •Published my first app, Log Antilog Calculator
- •The app was built to solve my own problem i.e calculating logarithms/anti-logarithms from the tables was slow & tedious)
College & Deep Exploration
- •Pursued Computer Science (I.T) degree
- •Solved a widespread IMEI issue for the Moto G4/Plus in the Android rooting community, helping thousands globally (Youtube)
- •Built my first game (Flapity)
- •Automated tedious tasks for college events by coding scripts
- •Did graphic design and video editing for college club events, thus developing a taste for design and UI (User Interface)
- •Bricked gadgets, unbricked gadgets, and learnt how computers really work
YC Startup Experience
- •Built Monitoring product (alert/notify user on logic based rules)
- •Deep dive into blockchain protocols & integrate them for Monitoring
- •Optimized Clickhouse queries (~80s to ~2s) using unconventional method
- •Helped tntegrate Kafka-Clickhouse for the Monitoring product
- •Optimizing Safeguard product response time by 30-40% (~7-8s to ~2-3s)
- •Forked open source Ethereum-ETL and improved upon it for the product use-case (implemented token approvals, additional metrics for token transfers and add support for ethereum-node behind basic auth)
